Backend Developer with experience for part-time (also Full-Stack)by CAVORIT

CAVORIT is a software company in Berlin and Brandenburg that specializes in the development of
web-based platforms with high architectural and data-analytical standards. For ten years, we have

We are currently looking for an experienced Backend Developer to support our team in the agile
development of digital products.
As a Backend Developer, you are responsible for the implementation of architectural components
and the development of services. You will work closely with other Frontend and Backend
Developers and architects, as well as with Data Scientists.

Tasks
• Participation in the design of scalable web services for large customer projects: You play a
key role in developing scalable web services specifically designed for large customer
projects. In this context, you work closely with the team to design architectural solutions
that meet our customers' high standards.
• Ensuring the technical implementation of backend functionalities in collaboration with the
frontend and methods team: You are responsible for the technical implementation of
backend functionalities, working hand in hand with Frontend Developers and Data
Scientists. Together, you ensure that the digital products function smoothly and meet the set
requirements.
• Continuous expansion of the features and stability of the backends of our digital products:
You contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital products by developing new
features and ensuring the stability of the backend systems. It is important to adapt the
products to changing requirements and customer needs.
• Optimization of performance and bug fixing: You optimize the performance of backend
systems and take care of fixing bugs to ensure a smooth and efficient use of our digital
products.

As an experienced Backend Developer at CAVORIT, you will play a key role in the agile
development of digital products. Your work will contribute to tackling complex challenges and
developing innovative solutions to meet the high architectural and data-analytical demands of our
projects.

Qualifications
• Experience in backend development (3-4 years): Professional experience as a backend
developer with a focus on web-based platforms and products.
• Programming skills: Excellent knowledge in one or more backend programming languages
such as Python, Rust, Node.js. Knowledge of CRDT is a great advantage.
• Web architecture and scalability: Deep understanding of web architecture principles,
microservices architectures, and experience in developing scalable web services.
• Feature development and stability: Experience in continuous development and expansion of
features and performance, and in ensuring the stability of backend systems.• Bug fixing and quality control: Experience in fixing bugs and ensuring quality control
through thorough testing.
• Versioning and DevOps: Knowledge in code versioning (e.g., Git) and experience with
DevOps practices are beneficial.
• Team collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with Frontend Developers, architects,
and Data Scientists to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components.
• Communication skills: Good oral and written communication skills in German or English to
effectively work in a team and convey technical concepts.
