RESPONSIBILITIES

Join our international Financial Reporting team and start your career as (Senior) Accountant. In this position you will be responsible for the general ledger activities and act as an interface between different departments and our group headquarters. You will work closely with our group companies and ensure that all accounting processes run smoothly. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to continuously expand and apply your financial reporting expertise.

• You will process business transactions in the general ledger and in asset & lease accounting, as well as reconciliation of sub-ledgers.
• You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB/local GaaP standards for European BASF Group companies in a timely manner and will also be responsible for income tax calculations.
• You are responsible for the monthly group reporting and to answer internal and external inquiries.
• You are the central contact person in accounting matters for our subsidiaries, other finance departments and central finance units of BASF.
• You will be involved in projects and participate in the development of tools and processes of our organization. Together with our partners you will actively contribute to further development of our organization.

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 36.000 - 42.000 €, depending on qualification and work experience, 43.000 - 47.000 € possible with correspondingly higher qualifications.
