Bewerberprofil Bachelor’s /Master Degree in biological science/biochemistry/biochemical engineering or general life science/engineering or relevant field with appropriate job experience (3-7 years). 1-3 years of Sales (inside/field) or customer technical support to end-users. 3–5 years experience in biotech/biopharma environment [Commercial, Operations, R&D]. 1-3 years experience with upstream bioprocessing technology applications, esp (single-use) bioreactors, bioprocess/system and/or media optimization, cell line/strain development. Sales of instruments (plus consumables and service) and general project-related selling in biotech/biopharma industry (especially fermentation and/or cell culture). Industry experience in upstream bioprocessing, media development, bioprocess development, or late-stage biotech R&D; ability to relate to- and interpret needs of- prospective clients. Capable of engaging the customer from hands-on/demo level to formal presentation level with customer operators, managers, influencers, and purchasers at all levels. Sales role/self-management experience to formulate sales projections, track leads and report business opportunity and needs; strong analytical and problem-solving. skills; ability to work efficiently and independently to accomplish project objectives Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and within a matrix environment. Required to travel in assigned territory and, where necessary, overseas in support of international accounts or for internal training or conference purposes. Stellenbeschreibung

The main purpose of the role is to role work closely with local Account Managers to maximize Bioreactor [MRT – Micro24, etc; XRS-20L; future developments in SUBs] sales and support to both new and existing customers]. Responsibilities Develop strategies and tactics to meet Sales projections for Bioreactors [capital equipment, consumables, services] within the assigned Region and as part of a global team. Serve as primary commercial lead on Bioreactor Sales activities, including support of RFQ/tenders, demonstrations, installations, proof-of-concept trials, and after-sales follow-up [customer satisfaction; problem resolution; coordination of repair & maintenance service]. Maintain Sales action plan identifying current customers and new prospects with target sales value on a rolling quarterly basis, 4 quarters in advance. Work in collaboration with local Life Sciences/BioPharm Sales teams supporting account strategies and the qualification of potential opportunities within the region. Selectively engage Field Applications Specialist(s) and other support resources to maximize the potential of winning new business and ensuring existing customers are satisfied. Attend conferences/tradeshows/customer-site shows to represent Bioreactors and to maintain a professional network that ensures awareness of industry activity/trends. Work with Bioreactor Program Leader and Marketing designates to help evolve marketing activity and suggest new product development/portfolio expansion for Upstream BioProcess Technologies at Pall. Maintain a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with current scientific literature, competitor products, and customer preferences; attend relevant conferences and seminars to ensure such knowledge is continuously updated.
