For the department Commercial Lending Center located in Potsdam (near Berlin in Germany) we are looking for you. Position Summary: The Credit Analyst works in a team which provides analytical services for Italy, France, Benelux, UK and/or German Operations (Middle European Cluster including Austria and Switzerland). This position will provide recommendations to the risk associated (which include repayment capacity, operating results, credit/asset base, collateral, etc.) of extending credit to commercial customers via various financial products. These opinions and recommendations should provide the approval authority full knowledge to make an informed decision of the associated risks. The quality and speed of this analysis directly affects GMAC’s ability to increase earning and profitable assets and contributes to GMAC’s competitive advantage. The Credit Analyst will also actively assist in team projects to improve the credit analysis process and continuously improve cooperation with Operations. Your Key Accountabilities: Key responsibilities of this position will include: • Obtains all relevant and key information needed for appropriate level of analysis recommendations • Analyses new applications quickly, efficiently and effectively, providing expedient turnaround • Recognizes and correctly interprets signs of increasing risk • Provides appropriate recommendations that mitigate risks identified to approval authorities • Ensures adequate security is in place • Identifies and assesses business opportunities • Works as part of a team to ensure performance goals are met
